- Talk about missing te point. Everyone keeps going on about how shite the
- Walker is with only a 68ec030/40, when its not meant as a truly new
- Amiga, just a stop-gap before AmTech goes PPC. Looking at the specs, it
- can take both GFX and CPU upgrades - for when the new Amiga's come out,
- and PPC and newer GFX chips become available. This will sell, especially
- to A1200 owners who haven't bought an accelerator yet. The extra power
- is there, and its FAR more upgradeable. For Christ sake, when AmTech do
- something that everyone has being crying out for, why does everyone
- slagging them off?
- It's not a new machine, but a re-designed A1200 (some people are calling
- it the Walker 1200!), with the first five upgrades already there - 030
- instead of 020, 4MB Fast Ram, Quad speed CD-ROM, Hard Drive, and High
- density floppy. Stop maoning and get behind the Amiga, or bugger off and
- buy and P100 and run the corporate virus that is Win95.
